The Litter Picker Tracker (LPT) is one of my personal projects which I deliver through ootv.co.uk (ootv). This privacy policy will explain how ootv uses the personal data that you provide when you use my web apps.

In summary: ootv will only collect personal data that you provide. Your email address is used for password resets and contacting you in the case that you win a prize. Your postcode is used so that ootv can see the geographic areas that users have signed up from. If you choose to provide it, you can set a username which will be shared with the members of teams that you join. ootv only collects cookies that are necessary for the app to function. The minimum age to use the full app is 16. People under the age of 16 can still have an account but their account will have some limiations, and it must be set up by their parent/guardian.

There is a single privacy policy that covers all ootv tools. You are creating an account for all of the tools (even if you intend to only use one), and so this privacy policy is inclusive of:

What data do we collect?

ootv collects the following data:

• Personal identification information (email address, post code, date of birth, and an optional username). The date of birth is required so that we can screen users for children.
• For children, the app will only collect the email address of their parent/guardian, a username (which is also set by the parent/guardian) and the child's date of birth.
• For LPT - Details of bags of litter that you have picked, including optional images
• For GPPP - Details of rounds of golf that you have played
• For DSR - Details of fuels you've created, and data from motors that you've tested

How do we collect your data?

You directly provide all data to ootv. We collect data and process data when you:

• Register online, or update your account details
• For LPT - Record a bag of litter, or update one
• For GPPP - Record a round of golf
• For DSR - Record or update a fuel or motor burn

How will we use your data?

ootv collects your data so that we can:

• Contact you, in the case that want to reset your password or that ootv needs to contact you about changes to you privacy policy or the terms and conditions
• For LPT - Contact you, in the case that you win a prize
• Children cannot win cash prizes. They can only win prizes where they pick a charity to donate to, or where the prize is for an organisation such as a school.
• Analyse the anonymised geographic location of our users (via postcodes)
• Child accounts do not have postcodes associated with them, so this does not apply to children.
• For LPT - Share your username with other users, if you choose to join a team
• For the avoidance of doubt, a childs username is set by their parent/guardian and cannot be edited by the child. The child's username may be shared with other users if the child chooses to join a team.
• For GPPP - Share a temporary username with other users, if you choose to join their round
• A child will also set their temporary username when they join a round. This temporary username is only shared with other members of that specific round (so members can see who's score is whose), and the temporary username is deleted as soon as the round is completed.
• For DSR - We will not share your data

How does ootv store your data?

Your data is stored on a cloud server operated by my web hosting provider.

ootv will only keep your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes it was collected for, unless you delete it yourself, or ask me to do it on your behalf.

Marketing

ootv will not use your data for marketing or provide your data to anyone else for marketing purposes.

What are your data protection rights?

Every user is entitled to the following:

The right to access - You have the right to request copies of your personal data. ootv may charge you a small fee for this service. Note that it is visible by clicking on the “Manage account” button.

The right to rectification - You have the right to request that ootv corrects any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request that ootv completes information you believe is incomplete. You also have the ability to edit all of your personal data yourself.

The right to erasure — You have the right to request that ootv erases your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to restrict processing - You have the right to request that ootv restricts the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to object to processing - You have the right to object to my processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to data portability - You have the right to request that ootv transfers the data that we have collected to another organisation, or directly to you, under certain conditions.

ootv only uses cookies that are necessary for it's web apps to function. By signing up to ootv, you are consenting to their use.

Age restrictions

In order to comply with legislation around the world, you agree to only sign up for your own ootv account if you are 16 or older. People under the age of 16 must have a child account, which can be set up by their parent/guardian. Adult and child accounts are required for ootv to comply with data protection laws and so that cash prizes can be offered to adult users.

Usage restrictions

You will not spam or abuse the ootv tools.

• You agree that you will not hack into or insert malicious code, such as viruses, or harmful data, into any ootv software.
• You agree that you will not use the software in a way that could damage, disable, overburden, impair or compromise the systems or security, or interfere with other users.
• You agree that you will not collect or harvest any information or data from the software or attempt to decipher any transmissions to or from the servers running the software.

Data

You agree that any content that you provide to ootv (including, but not limited to, text, files and photographs/images) is legal and also respects other users of the apps. You must not include third-party intellectual property (such as copyrighted material) unless you have permission from that party or are otherwise legally entitled to do so. You are legally responsible for the content you submit to ootv, or which is submitted to ootv using your account.

ootv may use and analyse the data you provide, but it will be anonymised.

ootv will not be responsible for any loss of damage of the data that you store within the software.

Changes to our terms and conditions

What to do if you no longer agree to these terms and conditions

You have a right to terminate this agreement at any time by deactivating your account and discontinuing use ootv's apps.

You can create an account for your child if they are under 16 (or the applicable age in your country).

You are creating an account which grants access to all of the tools created by ootv (even if you intend to only use one):

• The Litter Picker Tracker (LPT)
• Graves Park Pitch & Putt (GPPP)

The account that you create for your child has some differences to an adult account:

• In LPT - Children cannot view or receive direct prizes. They can still view and recieve prizes which will either be donations on their behalf or prizes for an organisation (such as a school).
• Password reset emails will be sent to your email address.
• In order to limit the amount of personal information stored about children, we do not require a postcode for child accounts.
• In order to limit the amount of personal information stored about children, you (as their parent/guardian) will set their username. They can either use this username or your email address when logging into this app.
• Note that in GPPP, children will still set their own temporary usernames (which are used when joining a round). This temporary username is only shared with other members of that specific round (so members can see who's score is whose), and the temporary username is deleted as soon as the round is completed.

Your child’s account will be automatically upgraded to an adult account when they turn 16. If you wish to change the threshold for parental consent (e.g because of consent laws in your region), you can notify ootv by emailing:
